Most of us have been on the receiving end of a special gift from our loved one: a box of chocolates, or a bouquet of roses, just to show they care. But every once in a while there’s the man whose taste runs a little toward the kinky side.

James, the hero of my contemporary menage romance series, Wicked Fantasies, loves to shower gifts on his fiance Serena. But not all of them are innocent. Here’s an excerpt from Wicked Little Thing, Book 2 in the series, in which James provides Serena with a special present:

Serena stalked to the floor-to-ceiling window in the living room of James’s Upper East Side apartment, where she’d been staying. The view from here was stunning. Thirty-four floors up—the penthouse, of course—with one of the most amazing scenes of the Manhattan skyline. The dark wood floors were marred only by a cream carpet underneath the leather couch, a coffee table, and two side chairs. Off to one end of the enormous room, right in front of the wall of windows, was a rectangular dining table with six chairs, all made of the deepest mahogany.

Outside, the blue sky was mottled with shades of orange and purple as day gave way to night. Knowing James, it would be at least another three hours before he returned. That gave her plenty of alone time.

Serena headed into the bathroom she used when she was here—and yes, it still astounded her that she had her very own bathroom—and stopped in front of the mirror to admire the earrings James had given her on their last night in Miami. Stunning two-carat rubies nestled in platinum casings. Real, and no doubt incredibly expensive. But more than that, a symbol of his love and affection for her.

At least, she hoped.

A naughty sense of excitement washed over her as she opened the cabinet beneath the sink and dug out the second gift he’d given her that night. Opening the case it came in, she surveyed the object. Made of red jelly, it was four inches long and a little over an inch wide, with a bulbous tip.

While she wouldn’t exactly call a butt plug a romantic gift, that didn’t mean she didn’t appreciate it. The plug was something she would never have purchased on her own, and she’d found a surprising amount of pleasure in using it. The fact that it would ease the way for anal sex didn’t surpass her. James had told her how much he’d enjoyed watching Manny and Derek stuff her on both ends.

So, as you probably guessed from that excerpt, anal sex isn’t the only thing James is into. He enjoys watching the expression on his woman’s face when she’s making love…and not necessarily with him. James loves to indulge in one of Serena’s most wicked fantasies: enjoying multiple lovers. In fact, he’s enlisted the help of five of his closest friends to show Serena just how kinky she can get…
